1. Acceptance
By accessing purnavejewelz.com, creating an account, placing an order or otherwise purchasing directly from Purnave Jewelz, the user agrees to these Terms & Conditions and the policies incorporated by reference. A person who does not agree should not use the website or place a direct order.
2. Business Identity
The website and direct retail business are operated under a sole proprietor, trading as Purnave Jewelz, from 35/16 Palayappan Street, Seven Wells, Chennai – 600 001, Tamil Nadu, India.
3. Eligibility and Personal Use
Orders are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older purchasing for personal use. A person under 18 may use the website only through a parent or lawful guardian. Products are not intended for children. Wholesale, commercial resale or bulk procurement requires prior written approval.
4. Accounts and Information
Where account creation is available, the customer must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential and notify Purnave Jewelz of suspected unauthorised use. Purnave Jewelz may suspend an account or order where fraud, misuse, security risk or false information is reasonably suspected.
5. Product Information
Purnave Jewelz seeks to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, materials, measurements, prices and availability. Minor colour, finish, size and batch variations may occur as described in the Product Disclaimer. A customer should review product-specific information and care guidance before purchase.
6. Prices, Taxes and Charges
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless clearly stated otherwise. Standard shipping for orders below ₹500 and free for orders of ₹500 or above. Where cash on delivery is available, a separate COD charge applies in addition to any shipping charge. The final payable amount will be displayed or communicated before order confirmation. Purnave Jewelz may change prices prospectively, but a change will not ordinarily affect an already accepted order except to correct an obvious error.
7. Orders and Contract Formation
An order submission is an offer to purchase. Automated acknowledgement does not necessarily mean final acceptance. An order is accepted when Purnave Jewelz confirms acceptance or dispatches the product. Acceptance is subject to payment, stock, serviceability, verification and compliance with these Terms.
8. Pricing or Description Errors
If an obvious pricing, discount, tax, stock or description error is identified before dispatch, Purnave Jewelz may contact the customer for instructions, offer the correct terms, or cancel the affected item and issue a full refund of the amount paid for it. Purnave Jewelz will not knowingly enforce a misleading price.
9. Payments
Available payment methods will be shown at checkout or communicated for a direct order. Payments may be processed by third-party providers. The customer must use an authorised payment method and must not share OTPs, CVVs, UPI PINs or banking passwords with Purnave Jewelz staff.
10. Discounts and Promotions
- A coupon is subject to its stated validity, minimum order, product exclusions and usage limit.
- Coupons cannot be combined unless expressly permitted.
- One person, household, mobile number, email address, payment method or delivery address may be restricted to one first-order benefit.
- A promotion may be modified or withdrawn prospectively, but this will not ordinarily affect an already accepted eligible order.
- Discounts have no cash value and cannot be transferred unless expressly stated.
11. Shipping, Cancellation, Returns and Refunds
The Shipping Policy, Cancellation Policy and Return, Exchange & Refund Policy form part of these Terms. No policy limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Marketplace and Exhibition Sales
A purchase through a third-party marketplace is also governed by that marketplace’s applicable terms. For conflict concerning marketplace-managed payment, shipping, cancellation or refund processes, the marketplace process may apply to the extent permitted by law. Exhibition and in-person sales are ordinarily final after inspection, subject to verified defects and non-excludable consumer rights.
13. Acceptable Use
A user must not:
- use the website for fraud, unlawful activity, impersonation or unauthorised resale;
- interfere with security, checkout, pricing, inventory or website operation;
- introduce malware, scrape or harvest data through unauthorised automated means;
- copy, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without permission;
- submit false reviews, abusive messages, counterfeit returns or manipulated evidence; or
- attempt to obtain an unintended discount, refund or benefit through technical or operational misuse.
14. Reviews and User Content
A customer submitting a review, photograph, video or testimonial confirms that it is genuine, lawful and does not violate another person’s rights. By submitting content for publication, the customer grants Purnave Jewelz a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display, reproduce and format that content for website, social-media and promotional use, subject to applicable privacy choices. Purnave Jewelz will seek clear permission before reposting content obtained independently from a customer’s personal social-media account.
15. Intellectual Property
The Purnave Jewelz name, logo, website design, original photographs, text, graphics and other original content are owned by or licensed to Purnave Jewelz. No licence is granted except the limited right to access the website for personal shopping. Third-party marks and supplier-owned designs remain the property of their respective owners.
16. Third-Party Services and Links
Payment gateways, couriers, marketplaces, social networks and linked websites are independent third parties. Purnave Jewelz is not responsible for their systems, content or independent acts, but will remain responsible for its own obligations and will reasonably assist with transaction issues.
17. Disclaimers
The website and products are provided subject to applicable law, the product description and the Product Disclaimer. Purnave Jewelz does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability or that every product will remain in stock. No informal statement creates a warranty unless authorised and expressly confirmed in writing.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Purnave Jewelz will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable from a breach. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability arising from fraud, wilful misconduct, product liability or mandatory consumer-protection rights.
19. Indemnity for Misuse
A user may be responsible for direct loss reasonably caused to Purnave Jewelz by the user’s fraud, unlawful conduct, infringement, counterfeit return or material breach of these Terms. This clause is not intended to impose liability for ordinary good-faith consumer complaints.
20. Force Majeure
Purnave Jewelz will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, epidemic, war, civil disturbance, government action, transport shutdown, strike, power or network failure, courier disruption or supplier interruption. Purnave Jewelz will take reasonable steps to communicate and mitigate the effect.
21. Suspension or Refusal of Service
Purnave Jewelz may refuse or cancel an order, restrict COD, or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, repeated abuse or unauthorised resale. Any prepaid amount for an unfulfilled legitimate order will be refunded unless lawfully withheld or set off.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other mandatory laws—including a consumer’s right to approach a forum having lawful jurisdiction—courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu will have jurisdiction over other disputes connected with these Terms.
23. Changes and Severability
Purnave Jewelz may update these Terms prospectively by publishing a revised version. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent lawful.
